What Is Old Club Penguin?
A snowy island in your web browser, the way it was from 2008 to 2012.
The island you remember
Old Club Penguin is a snowy island full of penguins. You make a penguin, waddle around, chat, play games and collect things.
The island looks and plays the way the original Club Penguin did from 2008 to 2012. The rooms, the menus and the games are all here, along with handy quality-of-life touches and a few favourites from later years.
What you can do
-
Explore
Walk from room to room and see where every door leads.
-
Make friends
Chat with other penguins, add buddies and send postcards.
-
Play games
Play games around the island. The games are still in testing.
-
Make it yours
Decorate your igloo and look after your puffles.
Still in testing
Old Club Penguin is not finished. Some rooms, games and catalogs are still being tested, so you may find things that do not work yet. This guide only describes what is ready, and says so when something is still in testing.
Free for everyone
There is nothing to buy. Coins come from playing games. Nobody on the team can hand out coins or items, so never believe anyone who offers them.
One island that stays
There is one island, and it is here to stay. Your penguin, your coins and everything you collect are saved to your account.
Who makes it
Old Club Penguin is a fan project. It is not part of Disney. You can read more on the About Us page.
